Production Supervisor - Rendering​/Casings

Join the front lines of our operations and lead the production process from start to finish. Oversee yields, enforce safety and quality standards, and drive efficiencies to keep the operation running smoothly.

• Perform daily inspections on the production floor to identify unsafe conditions and take corrective action.
• Lead safety audits, champion ergonomic initiatives, and ensure adherence to HACCP, USDA, and other regulatory requirements.
• Enforce the Food Safety and Food Quality plans, train employees on safe operating procedures, and verify completion of lock‑out/tag‑out tasks.
• Track, analyze, and report on production yields, efficiencies, and variances; collaborate with Operations Managers to improve workflows and reduce downtime.
• Direct hourly production employees, conduct monthly line meetings, walk the floor daily, and maintain alignment on safety, quality, and production goals.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing key performance metrics and proposing changes to enhance efficiency and maintain high quality standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience, or equivalent education‑experience mix.
• Experience leading, training, coaching, or mentoring staff, or managing a process or project.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with proven problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Proven ability to motivate, train, and coach employees to achieve peak performance in a team‑oriented environment.
• Adaptability to fast‑paced, dynamic environments; willingness to work varied conditions (heat, cold) and long hours including weekends.
• Travel up to 5% of the time.
• Proficiency with SAP, internet tools, spreadsheets, Word, order processing, and inventory software is an asset.
• Bilingual language skills are a bonus.

• Experience in food processing, leadership, and manufacturing; knowledge of yields, plant efficiencies, and operations procedures.
• Knowledge of yields, plant efficiencies, and operations procedures will be key to driving success.

• Work in wet or humid conditions, extreme cold and heat, near moving mechanical parts, and exposure to fumes or airborne particles.
• Occasional lifting or moving of up to 50 pounds.
• Require close and distant vision, ability to adjust focus, and frequent standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and speaking.
