Description
Join our team as a 3rd Shift Machine Operator, where you will run and maintain a variety of production equipment—including CNC mills, lathes, and Swiss lathes. We are looking for a detail‑oriented operator who takes pride in producing high‑quality parts and keeping a clean, efficient workspace.
What You’ll Do- Machine Operation: Set up, start, and run manual and CNC equipment (mills, lathes, etc.).
- Quality Control: Measure parts using precision tools to ensure they meet exact specs.
- Daily Maintenance: Perform routine upkeep like changing filters, greasing slides, and managing coolant.
- Safety & Efficiency: Maintain production logs, meet quantity targets, and follow OSHA safety standards.
- Technical
Skills:
Ability to read engineering designs and use basic shop math. - Experience: 1+ years of machine shop experience preferred (on-the-job training available).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move up to 50 lbs.
- Mindset: A team-oriented problem solver who follows directions well.
