Supervisor Trainee

Ag Processing Inc (AGP) is hiring for a Supervisor Trainee in St. Joseph, MO. The person in this role will partner with management and our operations crew to learn how to effectively supervise our team and plant to maximize productivity. This entry-level position offers an opportunity to develop skills and grow in a career in management and engineering.

• Supervise and train production employees through scheduling, monitoring, and assistance when needed.
• Monitor equipment and facility for proper operations by reviewing logs, flash reports, and conducting visual and physical inspections.
• Assist with production and maintenance tasks, including loading, unloading, car moving, cleaning, and process operations.
• Schedule trucking and production by reviewing production records and determining needs.
• Review daily production records and quality data.
• Assist with inventory control as needed, including counting and sampling.
• Enforce company policies and procedures.
• Write daily reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Ability to work as a member of a team in a production environment.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and strong analytical ability.
• Excellent communication skills and strong safety awareness.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and organize employee work to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Willingness to work various hours and shifts.

High School Diploma or equivalent is required. A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Ag Systems Technology, Ag Production Technology, or similar experience is preferred.
