Maintenance Supervisor

The Maintenance Supervisor position is a supervisory leadership role supported by on‑the‑job training, development, and opportunity for career progression.

• Create a safety culture and apply and implement workplace policies
• Lead and coach skilled trades/maintenance personnel in all aspects of asset management including asset availability, cycle time, preventative maintenance, predictive and condition‑based monitoring technologies
• Lead teams in leveraging new and existing machine monitoring tools to identify constraints and systematically reduce and eliminate interruptions in production flow
• Build strong interpersonal relationships with hourly team members, union and management teams
• Communicate effectively with hourly team members, leaders, business partners and customers
• Administer the collective bargaining agreement consistently and effectively
• Evaluate team member performance and encourage continuous improvement

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ years supervisory and/or manufacturing experience
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Ability to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights and weekends
• Fundamental working knowledge of PLC logic and controls
• Mechanical aptitude

• Bachelor’s degree
• Safety and quality experience
• Six Sigma:
  Black or Green Belt certification
• Knowledge of constraint management principles
• Prior experience managing a unionized workforce

This position is a salary grade 7 and ranges from $84,.
