2nd Shift Machine Operator III - BIN Line

Position Summary

Under general supervision of the Production Lead, ensure machines are well-maintained and operating at full capacity while producing quality product. Machine operators perform periodic checks on output, visually inspect the production run, document results, and determine and report malfunctions to appropriate parties. Maintain cleanliness of equipment and the assigned area.

• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) at all times.
• Perform line setup, startup, operations, closing and changeover of equipment.
• Ensure product quality is met throughout the process.
• Perform checks and inspections to verify quality.
• Perform adjustments as necessary.
• Perform machine setups in accordance with applicable procedures and setup sheets.
• Accurately complete and maintain all production records.
• Responsible for reporting problems to the department lead.
• Adequate housekeeping at all times during shift, creating an organized layout for all personnel.
• Review and ensure appropriate adherence to quality and safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as directed by the lead.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year manufacturing operator experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, utilizing basic math skills and auditing paperwork.
• Ability to effectively adapt to change.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time; to work in confined areas; to lift up to 50 lbs or more.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
