What you will be able to do:
eDrive Inverter Industrialization/Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for developing and documenting the key inverter assembly processes as well as supporting the tier 1 inverter assembler with implementing the inverter assembly processes for production.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and documenting inverter manufacturing and assembly processes (i.e. laser welding, PCBA soldering, etc.)
* Develop and maintain engineering specifications for the inverter assembly
* Support tier 1 inverter assembler with adapting inverter assembly processes toward mass production
* Contribute toward decision making of tier 1 inverter assembler production equipment selection
* Prototyping manufacturing tools and fixtures to aid in the inverter assembly process
* Support tier 1 inverter assembler with developing/creating manufacturing tools and fixtures for production
* Conduct DOEs to prove out inverter manufacturing and assembly processes
* Maintain and procure parts to develop prototype manufacturing tools/fixtures
