Pay: $16-$17 per hour

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Assistant to support our sign manufacturing team. This role plays a key part in producing high-quality signage by assisting with fabrication tasks, preparing materials, maintaining equipment, and ensuring efficient workflow throughout the shop.

• Assist in the fabrication of signs including cutting, trimming, and assembly tasks.
• Operate basic shop equipment and tools (e.g., cutters, drills, laminators).
• Prepare materials such as vinyl, substrates, and mounting hardware.
• Help with printing, weeding, masking, and applying vinyl graphics.
• Organize and label materials for production jobs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Load, unload, and move materials or finished products as needed.
• Support production staff with quality checks and packaging.
• Follow shop procedures, safety protocols, and job instructions.

• Experience in sign manufacturing, print production, or general shop/warehouse work preferred but not required; training provided.
• Ability to use hand tools and basic machinery safely.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new fabrication skills.
• Ability to read work orders, measurements, and basic diagrams.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to lift 40-50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

• Experience with large-format printers, plotters, or laminators.
• Familiarity with vinyl application and sign assembly techniques.
• Basic computer skills (e.g., RIP software, Adobe Suite, Microsoft, or similar).
