- Quality / Manufacturing Engineer as a STA Engineer at Client, you will play a critical role in ensuring supplier manufacturing readiness and sustained performance.
- You will be responsible for implementing commodity-specific business plans, ensuring supplier compliance with Client's quality, delivery, capacity, and warranty standards.
- This position serves as the primary technical interface between Client and its suppliers and is essential in supporting product launches, driving issue resolution, and ensuring zero disruption to vehicle production.
- Quality Management, Problem Solving, PPAP processes, APQP
- Experience in process planning, implementation, and launch in electronics manufacturing systems.
- Operational experience in electronics manufacturing processes and process control (Front end and backend).
- Automotive industry experience.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, quality, or supplier management.
- 5+ years of experience in one or more but not limited to the following manufacturing processes:
Casting, Machining, Forging, Stamping, Welding, Plastic/Rubber Molding, Brazing, Sintering, Automated/Manual Assembly Process, Controls Automation programing, Paint, Chroming, SMC. - Proven experience in PPAP, APQP, and quality systems.
- Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
- Working knowledge of Client systems and standards (e.g., Q1).
- Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Ability to travel frequently to supplier sites up to 70%.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills
