the ICHD Ameri Corps Public Health program builds capacity for public health-focused organizations in Michigan's capital region.
Ameri Corps members provide critical support to the region by addressing 4 key issues in their service: fostering public health equity, expanding access to healthcare and social services, improving the built environment (with an emphasis on food and housing security), and developing the public health workforce.
