House Supervisor (RN) — Full-Time Nights, 7 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.

Metropolitan Behavioral Health (a UHS Facility) is a 144-bed behavioral health facility offering inpatient services for adolescents, adults and older adults, including co‑occurring behavioral health and substance use programs. The facility provides a robust outpatient program with group, family and individual therapy.

Position Summary

The House Supervisor (RN) is responsible for ensuring coordinated delivery of patient care in accordance with established standards of care, mental health practice and hospital policy, goals and objectives. This role provides supervision to the nursing staff and oversees patients and patient care during their shift. The House Supervisor coordinates with the Intake and Admissions Department regarding patient admissions, discharges and transfers during the shift.

Qualifications

Education: A minimum of an associate degree in nursing or BSN from an accredited program is required.

Experience: A minimum of three (3) years' experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.

Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the MI State Board of Nursing

Additional Requirements: Understanding of The Joint Commission, OSHA requirements, and state and federal regulatory requirements. Must have current CPR certification.

This full-time night shift position includes weekend and holiday rotation.
