The Nurse Practitioner utilizes the medical model to meet a variety of healthcare needs with ambulatory care as the primary focus. The Physician Assistant works with a variety of healthcare professionals and security officers in a correctional environment to provide basic medical services supervised by a licensed Physician. The PA has no managerial responsibilities.

• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program
• Current licensing or certification in Michigan
• Experience in correctional health care desired but not required
• Acute care experience preferred
