Schedule/Hours:

• 40 hours per week
• 8 hours per day
• Flexible block schedule:
  Five 8-hour, four 10-hour, or three 12-hour shifts-all starting at 6am
• On-call: 48 hours per six-week schedule, including availability for 1 weekend per month
• Shift options: 6am-2:30pm, 6am-4:30pm, or 6am-6:30pm
• Start: 05/18/2026 | End: 08/15/2026 | 13-week assignment

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in Michigan
• BLS Certification (current)
• Clinical experience in the OR and cardiac scrub required
• Strong background in nursing process, patient assessment, implementation, and evaluation
• Effective communicator with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Problem-solver with the ability to implement patient care solutions

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, compassionate care in the CVOR
• Implement and document nursing care plans and educate patients and families
• Lead and supervise care within a fast-paced, complex surgical environment
• Communicate critical information promptly to the healthcare team
