Registered Nurse Circulator- Operating Room Part-Time s-Dearborn

This position is for a very busy 3 room multi‑specialty OR, including cataract surgery.

We offer a variety of surgical services within our 3 operating rooms:
Ophthalmology, General, Plastics, GYN, Ortho Hand, Ortho Foot, Urology and ENT.

Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

Unit open Monday-Friday. Shift 0630‑1500 (occasionally required to stay over to finish cases). This position works 5 days per 2‑week pay period.

Part‑time benefits.

• BSN preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• 1–2 years of OR circulating experience.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Effective communication with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
• Scrub knowledge is a plus.
• Prior operating room experience required.
• Positive attitude.
• Team player who can work in a fast‑paced environment.

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
