Registered Nurse (Rn) Part-Time Day Shift Adolescent Unit

Responsibilities

REGISTERED NURSE (RN) ADOLESCENT UNIT

Part Time Days 7 a.m.

- 7:30 p.m.

Metropoltian Behavioral Health (a UHS Facility) – A growing 144-bed behavioral health facility provides a full continuum of inpatient services across the entire patient population, including specialty programs to serve adolescents, adults, and older adults, and performs behavioral health assessments 24 hours a day. Programs for co-occurring behavioral health and substance use issues also are offered to meet the unique needs of this patient population.

The facility also provides a robust outpatient program utilizing group, family, and individual therapy.

RNs coordinate and evaluate patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices. They oversee and direct the LPNs and MHTs on their units to provide for the safety and needs of the patients. A passion to work with teens is ideal.

Education:

Graduate from an accredited professional nursing required;
Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.

Licensure: RN license issued by the State of Michigan.

Work Hours:

Part-Time Day Shift (7 a.m.

- 7:30 p.m.). This position also works rotating holidays and every other weekend.
