We are seeking an experienced and passionate RN Unit Manager to join our team at Riverside Commons in Dearborn, MI. As a valued member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in managing the overall operations of the unit, ensuring exceptional patient care, and leading a team of dedicated nurses.
About the Role:As the RN Unit Manager
, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the unit, including supervising nurses, coordinating patient care, and maintaining high levels of quality and safety. You will also be responsible for managing medication, charting, and communicating with insurance companies to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Manage the overall operations of the unit, including supervising nurses and ensuring high levels of quality and safety
- Coordinate patient care, including medication management, charting, and communication with insurance companies
- Develop and implement effective care plans and policies
- Lead and manage a team of dedicated nurses, providing guidance and support as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care coordination
- Identify and address areas for improvement, implementing changes as necessary
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
