Account Executive, Large Enterprise
Account Executives are solution-oriented individuals who help clients with their most important critical challenges. The role is a field sales position responsible for direct client contract value retention, growth through contract expansion, and the introduction of new products and services. The territory includes specific major client accounts and carries a sales quota of 1M+ of contract value.
Responsibilities- Consult with C-level executives to develop and implement an effective, enterprise-wide strategy that improves the value delivered by Gartner products and services
- Manage accounts toward increased customer satisfaction and account growth
- Fulfill a quota responsibility of 500K+ of contract value within the territory of major client accounts
- Handle forecast accuracy on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- 6+ years of external B2B sales experience with validated consultative sales and a record of prior success
- Proficiency in account planning and territory management
- Ability to prospect and sustain C-level and senior-level relationships within midsize and large organizations
- Demonstrated intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen
- Proven experience building excellent client relationships through strategic insights
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent written and oral presentation skills
- Full sales cycle knowledge, from prospecting to close
- Bachelor's degree preferred

Base salary range: $102,000 – $147,000 USD. Employees may also participate in an annual bonus plan or a role‑based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Additional benefits include generous PTO, a 401(k) match up to $7,200 per year, company stock purchase options, and more.
