About the Role
As a Stryker Endoscopy Sales Representative, you will act as a trusted partner in delivering visualization and connected OR solutions, promoting and selling Stryker Endoscopy products within approved indications for use.
Key Responsibilities- Promotes and sells Stryker Endoscopy products within approved indications for use.
- Educates and informs doctors, nurses, and appropriate staff personnel as to the proper use and maintenance of Stryker Products.
- Directs product evaluations in operating room and office settings.
- May assist in the preparation and operation of trade shows, conventions, and/or clinical meetings.
- Keeps regional manager informed of territory progress on a regular basis.
- Solves product problems for customers in an expeditious fashion.
- May assist in the training and development of sales personnel.
- 2–5 years in an outside sales position (medical related experience preferred).
- A minimum education level of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent of five (5) years of commercial sales experience or medical field experience that includes operating room experience.
- Must be able to routinely negotiate price and terms of transactions between Stryker and its customers.
- Must have a fundamental understanding of all products and be able to disseminate this knowledge to the customers.
- Must be able to effectively respond to customer questions and resolve challenges.
- Ability to analyze and prioritize market potential based on call patterns.
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Must be able to communicate with large groups of people and via telephone and electronic means (e.g., email, text).
- Must be able to operate common office equipment (e.g., smartphone, tablet, Microsoft Office, Outlook).
- Must be able to drive an automobile.
Base/Draw $60,000 + commission and/or bonuses. 20% overnight travel annually. Medium physical demands:
Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently to move objects.
Field‑based:
The majority of time spent at customer facilities within a defined territory. Remote:
May work majority of time from an alternate workplace. Hybrid:
Combination of alternate workplace and Stryker facility.
Employees in field roles that require access to customer accounts may be required to obtain the COVID‑19 vaccination as an essential function of their role.
