In this position…

The Security Generalist is a versatile, high-impact, on-site role focused on delivering security strategy and industry best practices. This shift-based position requires exceptional adaptability, as you will rotate through crucial functions including Executive Security Driver, Residential Security, and Executive Security Coordinator. Whether you are providing direct protection to top-level executives, monitoring advanced surveillance systems, or responding to critical emergencies, you will represent Ford with the highest level of professionalism, confidentiality, and composure under pressure.

This is a second shift position, working primarily Afternoon‑Evening Hours.

  • Must be available to work rotating shifts, off‑shifts, weekends, and holidays to support 24/7/365 coverage
What You’ll Do…
  • Executive & Personnel Protection:
    Provide access control, physical protection, and emergency response for executives, executive assistants, and visitors to executive floors and within Ford properties
  • Residential Security:
    Deliver executive residential security services, including monitoring security cameras, utilizing specialized equipment, conducting interior/exterior foot patrols, and reporting unusual observations
  • Executive Transport:
    Provide highly professional driving services for top-level Ford executives
  • Surveillance & Systems Monitoring:
    Monitor fire and security alarm systems, access control systems, Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), and radio communication networks
  • Emergency Management:
    Issue critical emergency notifications to key personnel and all levels of management during security, medical, fire, or other life‑threatening incidents
  • Operational Readiness:
    Demonstrate the ability to function effectively under extreme pressure and make sound, rapid decisions during stressful emergency situations
  • Reporting & Confidentiality:
    Review, maintain, and compile daily activity logs while protecting classified and sensitive company information with strict confidentiality
  • Role Flexibility:
    Maintain the flexibility to transfer fluidly between key organizational roles, including Executive Security Driver, Residential Security, and Executive Security Coordinator
You’ll have…
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of experience in law enforcement OR 5+ years of military experience
  • 2+ years of experience driving in an Executive Protection capacity
  • 1+ years of experience utilizing Microsoft Windows and Office applications
  • Possess a valid Driver’s license
  • Possess a Concealed Pistol License (CPL) or meet the state requirements to obtain one within 1 month from date of hire (qualification with the firearm prior to hire is a condition of employment)
Even better, you’ll have…
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of a clean driving record
  • Prior professional driving school training
  • Possess a Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act (LEOSA) credential or meet the requirements to obtain one within 1 month from date of hire
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
