Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician

Walmart is expanding across local retail stores and is actively recruiting a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician. If you possess relevant experience in this field, we invite you to bring your skills to our fast‑paced and welcoming work environment.

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment using HVAC and refrigeration skills, hand tools, digital and power tools.
• Utilize the work order management system to receive repair work orders, support stores and store associates, and document repair activities.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect, operate, and test facilities, equipment or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and guidelines by performing work according to Walmart's Refrigeration HVAC safety policy and environmental guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and comfortably work at heights frequently.

• 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Type I/Type II or Universal EPA Certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Completion of a 2‑year Vocational or Technical HVAC/R program.
• Mechanical license in the city and/or state where the job is located.

The hourly wage range for this position is $23.00 – $45.00. Premiums of $0.35 to $3.00 per hour may apply based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
