Field Service Technician

We’re looking for a Field Service Technician to join a growing and innovative engineering services organisation. This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same—perfect for someone who thrives on variety, autonomy, and technical excellence.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for commissioning, diagnosing, repairing, installing, and maintaining a range of electro‑mechanical equipment across customer sites. You'll work with advanced tools and technologies while delivering a first‑class service experience.

• Perform commissioning, fault finding, diagnostics, and repair of electro‑mechanical equipment
• Carry out preventative maintenance and inspections
• Install and remove AC/DC motors and related components
• Conduct electrical testing using industry‑standard equipment
• Carry out precision tasks including alignment, torqueing, and measurement
• Ensure all work is completed in line with safety regulations and company procedures
• Maintain strong customer relationships through professional service delivery
• Collaborate with colleagues while also working independently in the field

• Experience working with AC/DC motors or similar electro‑mechanical systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• Comfortable using electrical testing equipment
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a field‑based role
• Full, valid driver’s license and willingness to travel (including overnight when required)
• Strong communication skills and customer‑focused mindset
• Flexible approach to working hours, including overtime and on‑call support
