Mobile Engineer – Facility Engineer (HVAC/R)

JLL is seeking an experienced Facility Engineer to operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment across assigned facilities. The role focuses on ensuring energy‑efficient, safe operations and minimizing downtime.

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC/R systems, electrical distribution, plumbing, building interior/exterior repair, and grounds equipment.
• Use CMMS (Corrigo) to create work orders, update status, and submit P‑card receipts.
• Conduct inspections and due diligence, reporting findings that affect client occupancy and operations.
• Operate, troubleshoot, and repair equipment in mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems.
• Maintain accurate records of operating experiences and anticipate needed repairs.
• Assist with call‑in work and additional duties as required.

• Minimum 6 years of technical and supervisory experience in building engineering.
• Strong technical background in HVAC/R systems, especially rack refrigeration.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between client sites.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and the Corrigo facility management system.
• Availability for flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication skills for training and mentoring team members.

• Experience utilizing CMMS or work‑order systems.
• Computer skills in Word and Excel.
• Two years of trades school or documented apprenticeship in electrical, refrigeration, or HVAC.

• Location:
  
  Kalamazoo, MI (surrounding area) / On‑site – Jackson, MI.
• Shift: Standard day shift hours, with weekend and holiday flexibility.
