Job Summary
Under general direction, responsible for the operation, maintenance, repair, and installation of the plumbing infrastructure in a safe, effective, and efficient manner in response to or in support of the customer's needs.
Essential Functions- Repair plumbing fixtures throughout the Hospital & Medical center.
- Perform preventive maintenance assignments on required equipment.
- Maintain hospital sewer system including drain maintenance.
- Troubleshoot supply water problems and correct them.
- Read and understand Hospital Mechanical blueprints.
- Installation of new equipment (fixtures and systems).
Pay between $29.43 and $34.99, based on experience.
QualificationsRequired
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 5 years of relevant experience documenting work in the operation, maintenance, repair, and installation of plumbing infrastructure in a 400,000 sq. ft. commercial, industrial or institutional facility.
- Licensed Plumber – State of Michigan upon hire.
