Position Summary Installs, maintains, and repairs CNC machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems in the facility by performing the following duties. The role requires the above to be accomplished within Tecomet’s principles of continuous improvement, customer driven innovation and a win first culture, while meeting company safety, financial and other performance metrics.

Principle Responsibilities Visually inspects and tests CNC machinery and equipment and performs routine, scheduled designated preventative maintenance and repairs on CNC machines and associated equipment.

Discusses machine operation variations with management or production workers to diagnose equipment problems.

Assist with the installation of new CNC equipment and tooling.

Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.

Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.

Lays out, assembles, installs and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.

Monitor the progress of maintenance activities for effective compliance with maintenance plan.

Inspects construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established specifications.

Respond to inquiries in a courteous manner; provide information within the area of assignment; resolve complaints in an efficient and timely manner.

Repairs hand tool equipment.

Fabricates and repairs counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures.

Develops and conducts interior painting on an annual schedule.

Conducts minor plumbing work as required.

Conducts minor building repairs as required.

Conducts inspections of facilities and recommends repairs and upgrades when needed.

Cleans and maintains buildings and facilities.

Repairs and maintains physical interior structure of establishment.

Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned by supervisor.

Qualification Requirements Credentials/

Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent.
2 to 4 years of experience

Driver’s License is required;

Journeyman’s card is desirable.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of preventive maintenance principles and practices.

Use and knowledge of inspection equipment such as calipers and micrometers

Knowledge and use of test equipment such as multi-meters.

Knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics.
