School-Based Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location:
Dearborn, MI 48124
Position Type:
Full‑Time | School Year 2026‑2027
We are actively seeking a dedicated and student‑focused Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) to support a dynamic school district in the Dearborn area in a full‑time or part‑time capacity. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working alongside a collaborative special education team in a K‑12 setting.
What You’ll Do- Provide speech and language therapy services to students with a range of communication disorders
- Conduct evaluations, assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Masters degree in Speech‑Language Pathology
- Active Michigan SLP license (or ability to obtain)
- ASHA CCCs preferred (CFs encouraged to apply)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- A proactive, student‑centered mindset
- Manageable caseloads with strong district support
- Collaborative team environment with experienced professionals
