Social Worker | Dearborn, Michigan

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a school social worker in a dynamic K-12 environment. Located near Dearborn, MI, this full-time position runs from now through the end of the school year, offering you a chance to make a meaningful difference for a diverse student community.

As a valued team member, youll work 8am-3pm, collaborating with another experienced social worker to provide support for a caseload of 15 students across both general and special education settings. Your focus will be on fostering positive relationships, promoting social-emotional well-being, and helping each student reach their fullest potential.

• Valid MI School Social Worker licensure/certification
• Previous experience in a school environment preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families
• Flexibility, problem-solving skills, and a passion for student advocacy

• Provide individual and group counseling for students
• Develop and implement strategies to support social, emotional, and behavioral growth
• Conduct assessments and maintain progress documentation for assigned students
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure holistic student support
• Contribute to IEP meetings and provide recommendations for interventions/resources
• Facilitate communication between school and community services as needed
