Position: Robot Technician
Openings:
1st shift: 6 AM - 2:30 PM
2nd shift: 3 PM - 11:30 PM
Duration: 2 year contract to hire (guarantee to get hired on directly as long as successful within the role)
Location: Auburn Hills, MI
Pay Rate: $21-23/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
Must Haves:
-1-2+ years of experience as a robot, automotive, automation technician or related (experience in school is acceptable)
-Ability to read electrical & mechanical blueprints and schematics
-Proficient with using hand tools such as screwdrivers, Allen wrenches, and multimeter
-Minimum of High School Diploma/GED, Associates Degree in Robotics preferred
-Comfortable working overtime and Saturday shifts when needed

Responsibilities:
A leading supplier of automation for manufacturing is looking for an eager Robotics Technician to join their team in Auburn Hills, MI. Daily job duties are:
· Consistently achieves high quality when working on Product assembly, modification, and/or system integration from documentation (prints, illustration, and schematics)
· Sequentially follow step by step instructions provided in Manufacturing Process Plan - Documenting all in-process checks.
· Using engineering design documents – place, assemble, and secure robots and associated equipment in defined locations.
· Move robot via teach pendant.
· Load, upgrade, backup FAC software.
· Define or teach simple robot path.
· Testing or functional verification of Products and/or Systems as defined (PDE EX testing, Engineer releases or Manufacturing Control plans)
· Troubleshooting or debugging mechanical/electrical equipment
· Disassembly and preparation of FAC product and Systems for shipment.
· Proper care and use of FAC tools and compliance with Tool Management Procedure (check-out and return FAC tooling daily)
· Reliable and consistent attendance required.
· Maintain high level of professionalism in appearance, communication, and work area organization
