Position
Senior Java Solutions Architect – Dimondale, MI (Onsite/Hybrid)
Job OverviewThe State of Michigan is seeking an experienced Software Solutions Architect with deep expertise in Java and enterprise application architecture to design and deliver scalable, secure, and high‑performance systems.
Qualifications- 12+ years of professional experience in software/application development.
- 5+ years of experience in application architecture, designing large‑scale, mission‑critical solutions.
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience in containerization (Docker), distributed systems, and high‑availability architectures.
- Deep understanding of REST APIs and service integration patterns.
- Proven expertise in modern security and authentication frameworks: OAuth 2.0, SAML, OpenID Connect.
- Hands‑on experience implementing secure and scalable IAM solutions across distributed systems.
- Valid driver’s license required (except for Native US citizens).
- Local to Michigan required.
- Open to any visa.
- Available for in‑person interviews on May 11th or May 12th, 2026.
- Resource must be onsite from Day 1 (2–5 days per week based on manager discretion).
