ResponsibilitiesAs a Software Engineer on our Platform Observability team, you will champion the adoption of modern telemetry standards, build robust data pipelines to handle metrics, logs, and traces daily, and create intuitive tooling that helps our engineering organization detect, diagnose, and resolve complex system issues before they impact our users. You will design and implement microservices with robust APIs, deliver native UI/UX solutions, and develop frameworks and services to enable an enterprise data platform.

- Design and build scalable data pipelines and microservices on GCP.
- Implement SOA and microservices-based architectures.
- Full‑stack expertise for seamless front‑end and back‑end integration.

- Utilize GCP services such as Big Query, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions.
- Implement data governance, access controls, and security best practices.
- Continuously monitor and improve performance, scalability, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with data architects and cross‑functional teams.
- Automate data platform processes for reliability and efficiency.
- Minimum 5 years as a Software Engineer.
- Proficient in Python, minimum 5 years;
Java experience is a plus. - Minimum 1 year with Angular, React, or Vue.
- Minimum 3 years with GCP, Azure, or AWS.
- Experience designing and deploying cloud‑based data pipelines and microservices using GCP tools.
- Strong understanding of SOA, microservices, and their application in cloud data platforms.
- Develop robust, scalable services using Java Spring Boot, Python, Angular, and GCP.
- Knowledge of front‑end and back‑end technologies for data access and visualization layers.
- Design and develop RESTful APIs.
- Implement robust unit and functional tests.
- Experience with relational and No
SQL databases, including columnar databases like Big Query. - Excellent SQL skills, including query optimization.
- Understanding of data governance, RBAC, encryption, and data masking in cloud.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, IaC tools like Terraform.
- Manage code changes with Git Hub and resolve application defects.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Certifications preferred: GCP Data Engineer, GCP Professional Cloud.
- GCP experience preferred.

Pay Range: $61.00 – $66.00 per hour
