Senior Golang Developer (Dearborn, MI)
We are seeking a Senior Golang Developer, where you will design and develop command-line tools, developer productivity utilities, and automation pipelines that enhance the developer experience.
Responsibilities- Design and implement functionalities for Golang-based command-line tools.
- Develop and implement unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Write technical specifications for new features and improvements.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Contribute to process improvements, CI/CD pipelines, and toolchain upgrades.
- Lead the end-to-end development process focusing on clean code and maintainability.
- Own the production environment and proactively ensure reliability through observability practices.
- Implement a comprehensive, automated testing strategy, including unit, integration, and E2E testing.
- Master containerization best practices for security and efficiency.
- Navigate the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform. Integrate static analysis tools like Sonar Qube into CI/CD pipelines to enforce high engineering standards.
- Minimum of 8 years total engineering experience as a Senior Software Engineer.
- At least 8 years of production experience in Golang development, specifically in CLI, Dev Ops, and API work.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, including advanced query writing and relational database design.
- Proven experience with API integration, microservices, and event-driven systems.
- Commitment to software quality and expertise in various testing methodologies.
- Solid understanding of software architecture principles and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
