We are seeking an experienced Embedded AUTOSAR Engineer to join our automotive engineering team in Dearborn, Michigan
. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in embedded software development and AUTOSAR architecture, with hands‑on experience in developing, integrating, and validating embedded software for automotive ECUs. This role requires collaboration with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, production‑ready software solutions
- Design, develop, and integrate embedded software based on the AUTOSAR Classic Platform
- Configure and integrate AUTOSAR Basic Software (BSW), Runtime Environment (RTE), and Microcontroller Abstraction Layer (MCAL)
- Develop embedded software components (SWCs) using C programming
- Perform software integration, debugging, and validation on automotive ECUs
- Analyze software requirements and create technical design documentation
- Collaborate with system architects, hardware engineers, and validation teams throughout the software development lifecycle
- Troubleshoot software defects and provide timely resolutions
- Ensure compliance with automotive standards, coding guidelines, and quality processes
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and technical discussions
- Support software releases and continuous improvement initiatives
- 5+ years of experience in Embedded Software Development
- Strong hands‑on experience with AUTOSAR Classic Platform
- Proficiency in Embedded C programming
- Experience with AUTOSAR configuration tools such as Vector DaVinci Configurator/Developer

, or similar - Knowledge of AUTOSAR modules including BSW, MCAL, RTE, COM, CAN, DCM, DEM, NvM, and OS
- Experience with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, CAN FD, LIN, Ethernet, or Flex Ray
- Familiarity with debugging tools (JTAG, Lauterbach, etc.)
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
- Knowledge of automotive functional safety (ISO 26262) is a plus
- Familiarity with ASPICE processes is an advantage
