* Job Description:

**** Position Overview
** We are seeking a Software Engineer II to join our connectivity organization supporting our connected platforms. This team is responsible for developing and maintaining cloud-native applications that our connected services.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on software engineer who enjoys building solutions, writing code, and delivering features in a fast-paced Agile environment. This role will focus primarily on backend development, API development, microservices, and cloud-native applications.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain cloud-native software applications supporting connected services.
* Develop and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices used for integrations with external partners.
* Support and enhance services that enable secure access to connected features.
* Implement new features and enhancements while ensuring system reliability, scalability, and performance.
* Participate in greenfield development initiatives supporting new charging and connectivity capabilities.
* Troubleshoot and resolve production and non-production application issues.
* Collaborate with product owners, architects, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
* Participate in code reviews, testing, and Agile ceremonies.
* Follow software engineering best practices related to security, performance, maintainability, and scalability.
* Contribute to continuous improvement efforts across development processes and application architecture.
** Required Qualifications
*** Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience.
* Strong hands-on development experience with Java and Spring Boot.
* Experience building and supporting RESTful APIs and microservices.
* Experience developing cloud-native applications.
* Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
* Ability to quickly contribute within an established engineering team.
** Preferred Qualifications
*** 3–7 years of software engineering experience.
* Experience working with connected vehicle, mobility, IoT, or automotive technologies.
* Experience working with cloud platforms and distributed systems.
* Understanding of full-stack application architecture.
* Experience integrating external systems and APIs.
