Vehicle Software Validation Engineer

Location:

Dearborn, MI (Hybrid - 4 Days Onsite per Week)

Duration: 1-Year Contract (Extended Annually)

Pay Rate: $42.30/hour

We are seeking a Vehicle Software Validation Engineer to support the validation of vehicle software and integrated systems throughout the product development lifecycle.

• Develop and execute functional test scenarios utilizing Agile user stories and sprint requirements.
• Validate vehicle software and integrated vehicle features.
• Prepare and maintain test environments, vehicles, tools and software.
• Execute manual and automated testing activities and document results.
• Perform root cause analysis and manage defects in JIRA.
• Develop Python scripts, dashboards and reporting tools.
• Integrate APIs and data sources into automated workflows.

• Bachelor's Degree in a related engineering or computer science field.
• 3-5 years of software testing or validation experience.
• Software Testing, Test Execution, Python, API Integration, Root Cause Analysis.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, JIRA, automation, SQL, reporting and debugging.
• Strong analytical, communication and documentation skills.
