Part-Time Shuttle Bus Driver (Wheelchair Lift Experience Required) Allegria Village – Dearborn, MI

Allegria Village, a vibrant senior living community in Dearborn, is seeking aPart-Time Shuttle Bus Driver to join our transportation team. This role is ideal for a safety-focused, service-oriented driver with experience assisting passengers with mobility needs, including wheelchair lift operation.

Schedule:

• Part-time hours
• Must be available to work Saturdays
• Flexibility to work additional hours, up to full-time, based on community needs

Important: This is a passenger transportation role serving seniors. It is not a delivery, rideshare, or freight driving position
.

• Safely transport residents to medical appointments, shopping trips, and community outings
• Assist residents with boarding and exiting the vehicle, including safe operation of a wheelchair lift
• Provide hands- on support with wheelchairs, walkers, and personal belongings
• Ensure vehicles are clean, well- maintained, and ready for daily use
• Complete transportation logs and promptly report any issues
• Deliver courteous, respectful, and professional service at all times

• Valid Michigan Driver’s License and Chauffeur’s License
• Experience operating a wheelchair lift and transporting passengers with mobility challenges
• Minimum 2 years of relevant driving experience (senior living, healthcare, or passenger transport)
• Strong safety record and attention to detail
• Reliable, patient, and professional demeanor

• Experience driving a shuttle bus or passenger van
• Background in senior living, healthcare, or assisted transportation services
• Familiarity with mobility assistance equipment and best practices
