Seasonal Summer Laborer

Duties

• Traffic control flagging on roadways.
• "Weed-whipping" behind roadside grass cutting crews.
• Picking up roadside litter with tongs or point stick.
• Roadway and land surveying for data entry.
• Operate agency pickup trucks for road maintenance needs.
• Management of road sign inventory.
• Filing and digitizing documents.
• Must perform duties in a professional and courteous manner to promote a positive image of the Road Commission for Oakland County.
• Requires a daily schedule that supports RCOC hours of operation.
• Regular and predictable onsite job attendance is an essential function of this position.

• This position requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Must possess and maintain a valid State of Michigan Driver's License.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Available to work RCOC standard hours of Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm.

Milford, Davisburg, Lake Orion or Waterford.

• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States and possess a Valid Driver's License.
