Sheetrock Boom Truck Operator

Location: Destrehan "Alpha Warehouse", LA, 70047

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Sheetrock Boom Truck Operator to join our team at the Alpha Warehouse in Destrehan, LA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating boom trucks to safely and efficiently load, unload, and transport sheetrock and related materials within the warehouse and job sites.

• Operate boom trucks to load and unload sheetrock and other building materials.
• Ensure safe handling and transportation of materials to prevent damage.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on boom truck equipment.
• Coordinate with warehouse and site personnel to ensure timely delivery and placement of materials.
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies while operating equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of materials moved and equipment usage.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.

• Valid CDL or appropriate commercial driver/operator license as required.
• Proven experience operating boom trucks or similar heavy equipment.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in equipment operation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor and operate heavy machinery.
