** Job Overview:
** Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Operator with a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL

A) to join our team. This role involves operating various heavy equipment and driving commercial vehicles to transport materials and equipment to and from job sites, ensuring efficient and safe project execution.
Responsibilities:*
* * Operate a diverse range of heavy equipment, including but not limited to excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, trenchers, and forklifts, in a safe and efficient manner.  
* Perform pre-operation and post-operation inspections of equipment and vehicles, completing daily reports and identifying any maintenance needs or defects.  
* Safely load and unload materials, equipment, and supplies onto commercial vehicles, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution in compliance with Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).  
* Drive commercial vehicles (e.g., tractor-trailers, dump trucks) to transport materials and equipment to and from various construction sites, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety policies.  
* Assist with general labor duties on job sites as needed, including digging, lifting, carrying, and maintaining a clean work environment.  
* Communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and other personnel regarding project progress, equipment status, and safety concerns.  
* Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and governmental regulations, including those set by OSHA and DOT.  
* Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of assigned equipment and vehicles.  
* Maintain accurate records of hours worked, mileage, and materials transported.  
* Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report major malfunctions to mechanics or supervisors.

Qualifications:

* * High School Diploma or GED equivalent.  
* Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL

A) with a clean driving record.  
* Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment in a construction or industrial setting.  
* Proven experience driving commercial vehicles (e.g., tractor-trailer, dump truck) and transporting materials.  
* Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and work orders is a plus.  
* Knowledge of federal and state DOT regulations, including hours of service and vehicle inspections.  
* Strong understanding of construction site safety practices and procedures.  
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in various weather conditions and challenging environments.  
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  
* Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and DOT physical.  
* Physical ability to perform manual labor, lift heavy objects, and stand or walk for extended periods.
