Position Overview

Are you a reliable, safety‑conscious CDL A flatbed driver looking for a great opportunity? Universal Logistics is seeking experienced Class A CDL flatbed drivers to join our team in the Dearborn, MI area. We currently have home‑daily and home‑weekend positions hauling lumber, rebar, and various metal products.

• Home daily and weekend home time options available
• Up to $2,200 per week
• Flatbed Freight (coils of all types and sheets)
• Well‑maintained, modern equipment
• Stable, long‑term work
• Supportive dispatch and management team

Conestoga Flatbed trailers, late‑model trucks

• Safely operate Class A tractor‑trailer equipment
• Secure and transport flatbed freight using chains, binders and straps in compliance with DOT regulations
• Perform thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections
• Accurately maintain logs and required documentation
• Communicate any issues or incidents promptly with dispatch
• Maintain a strong focus on safety and professionalism

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 6 months of recent flatbed experience
• Clean driving record – no more than two moving violations in the past 3 years
• No more than three accidents in the past 3 years
• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
