The Dispatcher role at Krystal Transport LLC is a full-time, on-site position based in Detroit, MI. The Dispatcher will coordinate daily freight movements, assign drivers and equipment to routes, and ensure timely pickup and delivery of loads. Responsibilities include monitoring driver locations, communicating schedule changes, resolving route issues, and updating customers on shipment status. The role involves maintaining accurate records in dispatch systems, verifying load information, and working closely with operations, drivers, and customers to optimize routes and meet service commitments.

The Dispatcher will also help ensure compliance with company policies and applicable transportation regulations.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated skills in route planning, load coordination, and scheduling to manage multiple trucks and deliveries efficiently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for working with drivers, customers, and internal teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with dispatch software, GPS tracking tools, and basic computer applications (e.g., email, spreadsheets, data entry).
• Solid organizational and problem-solving skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, make real-time decisions, and adapt to changing conditions.
• Knowledge of trucking operations and general transportation regulations; prior dispatch or logistics experience is preferred.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure, handle time-sensitive situations, and provide courteous customer service.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or training in logistics, transportation, or business is a plus.
• Willingness to work on-site in Detroit, MI, with consistent attendance and reliability.
