The Office Administrative Assistant is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Decatur, AL. This position supports daily office operations, including answering and directing phone calls, greeting visitors, and managing incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries. The role includes maintaining organized electronic and physical filing systems, preparing documents and reports, and performing data entry to support purchasing, sales, and logistics activities. The Office Administrative Assistant will schedule meetings, coordinate calendars, and assist leaders with administrative tasks such as document preparation and travel arrangements.
This team member will collaborate with operations, accounting, and customer service to ensure accurate records, timely communication, and a professional office environment.
- Strong administrative support skills, including Administrative Assistance and Executive Administrative Assistance, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
- Professional communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and courteous phone etiquette, with a customer‑ and stakeholder‑focused approach.
- Solid clerical skills, including data entry, filing, document preparation, and basic recordkeeping in a fast‑paced office environment.
- Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office or Google Workspace) and ability to learn company‑specific systems.
- High attention to detail, reliability, and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Ability to work on‑site in Decatur, AL, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and maintain a professional and inclusive workplace.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or experience in office administration, accounting support, or logistics is beneficial.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, recycling, or a similar industrial environment is a plus.
