Job Summary

The Test Proctor will provide support to the activities in the Academic Testing Centers.

Responsibilities

Perform data entry in computer reporting system.

Perform testing operations with sophisticated computer software.

Proctor academic tests according to faculty member or testing specifications.

Administer and Score Work Keys exams.

Provide accurate workforce services and test center information to Calhoun Workforce Solutions clients in business and industry, students, and other members of the general public when seeking the college's services.

Perform computer technical support when students require assistance during online exams.

Promptly notify and work with appropriate Calhoun staff member regarding equipment or software problems, student incidents, or any factors affecting the security or integrity of the administration of examinations.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required
.

Ability to answer the phone.

Must not be a currently enrolled Calhoun Community College student.

Ability to lift up to 20-30 pounds.

Ability to work flexible hours.

Ability to work on short notification as needed.

Ability to maintain confidentiality of office information is required.

Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Ability to handle multiple tasks at once.

Prior testing experience preferred.

Background Check Requirement

In accordance with Alabama Community College System Policy and guidelines, the applicant chosen for employment will be required to sign a consent form for a criminal background check. Employment will be contingent upon receipt of a clearance notification from the criminal background check.
