Dental Associates of North Alabama Decatur & Childrens is excited to announce that we are hiring for an energetic fun filled Dental Assistant for our Decatur office This full time position is perfect for a strong confident and well skilled team player that will operate with the values of our patients This position requires 2 years of chairside experience wed love to hear from you

• Greets patients in waiting area and escorts patients to the operatory
• Assists the dentist in the administration of treatment at the chair side as required or directed by the dentist
• Maintain a sterile and neat working environment according to current infection control procedures
• Review the health history make chart entries under the direction of the dentist and assure completion of forms and signatures
• Assume the responsibility associated with any duties that may be delegated by the dentist
• Familiarize the patient with the aspects of their dental visit and provide support and compassion to that patient when it is needed
• Stock operatories and maintain clinical supply inventory
• Review daily schedule to set up appropriate trays and instruments
• Supervise preventive maintenance of dental equipment
• Take digital radiographs
• Follow practice protocols quality assurance biohazards infection control referral emergency medicine implants perio program and emergency treatment

Monday & Tuesday
700 AM 400 PM with 1 hour lunch

Wednesday Thursday Friday 700 AM 300 PM with no official lunch possible
