Salary
Salary: Based on education and experience, commensurate with the Alabama Community College System Salary Schedule D1 ($46,590–$94,363). This is a nine‑month position. Summer employment may be available (an additional $14,384–$29,184) dependent upon enrollment.
ResponsibilitiesEducation: Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in Computer Science required.
Experience: Three to five years of professional experience preferred.
- Current knowledge in Computer Information Systems, preferably Computer Programming
- Python Programming
- Enterprise Virtualization
- Cloud Computing Concepts
- Data Analytics
- Artificial Intelligence
- Secure (Defensive) Programming Techniques
- Operating Systems (Windows, Linux/Unix, Macintosh)
- Database design and development (SQL, Oracle)
- Systems analysis and design
- Computer hardware configuration and troubleshooting
- Microsoft Office
- Web assisted instruction using Canvas
- Experience with Strongly‑Typed languages
- Experience with Loosely‑Typed languages
- Swift certification
