Overview
GE Appliances, a Haier company, is looking for highly motivated engineering students to join our Supply Chain/Manufacturing co‑op program. This co‑op offers real world manufacturing experience, leadership development, and opportunities to network with leaders in the business and attend professional development sessions. Co‑ops at this location support refrigeration and may involve assignments in shop operations, process engineering, advanced manufacturing engineering, global supply chain management, quality, sourcing, materials management, and manufacturing management.
Co‑ops work in a team environment to complete projects and duties designated by their assignment leader. Housing and relocation assistance is available.

USA, Decatur, AL. Fall 2026 Co‑op runs from August 17, 2026 – December 1172026 (based in Decatur, AL).
- Set goals and objectives for your co‑op rotation with your assignment leader
- Lead teams across multiple levels of the business through influencing
- Use initiative to find and develop process improvements
- Assist your team with development and execution of project ideas
- Develop and demonstrate analytical approach to problem solving
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently
- Set regular feedback sessions with your assignment leader
- Travel required:
0% – 10% (depending on role) - Hours and weekends:
Some overtime and Saturdays may be required depending on role - Start and end times vary by department; all roles are day shift with start times between 5:30 AM and 8:00 AM
- Reliable transportation to and from work daily is required
- Housing and relocation assistance available
- Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Chemical Engineering (or related) or Supply Chain Management (or related)
- May 202X or later graduation date
- Cumulative GPA >= 3.0 (out of 4.0)
- Willingness to explore all sides of Supply Chain (Manufacturing, Sourcing, Quality, Materials, Lean, Distribution, Fulfillment, etc.)
- Legal authorization to work in the country/region; no visa sponsorship is provided now or in the future
- Previous co‑op/intern work experience
- Demonstrated leadership on campus or in the community
- Analytical problem solving, initiative, strong communication and teamwork skills related to major field of study
