Final Integration Manufacturing Project Manager Operations Lead Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Serve as the cost, schedule, technical and programmatic interface between the program and manufacturing.
• Cost:
  Understand budget allocation and drive cost performance across Operations.
• Support program proposal and basis of estimate efforts, including budget and schedule.
• Account for and manage all out‑of‑scope requests (e.g., engineering change, hardware returns, additional test requirements) to ensure proper budget considerations.
• Schedule:
  
  Drive planning and execution across Operations.
• Lead Program Status Meetings.
• Drive daily actions across the team (engineering, spacecraft, MWI, tooling, manufacturing, test, facilities, etc.).
• Conduct forward/backward pass analysis to understand hardware critical path.
• Coordinate inter‑facility or cross‑site actions and readiness across major functional organizations.
• Technical:
  Demonstrate technical understanding; articulate and discuss technical issues; drive technical production issues back through program or engineering for resolution; ensure engineering, MEs and MRP understand and work to production need dates; support MRB, FRB and ARB as needed.
• Programmatic:
  Interface between Operations, Engineering, Program Lines of Business; communicate hardware status to program and customer; ensure Operations readiness by hosting Manufacturing Readiness Reviews (MRR) and Test Readiness Reviews (TRR); host Program Management Reviews with Operations, Program and Customer; support any Program or LOB‑specific meeting or review; drive development of “what if” analysis and risk mitigation plans related to technical or capacity resource issues;
  
  engage early with Operations leadership for return‑to‑green plans.

• Program/Project Management experience.
• Experience with Engineering and Systems Engineering for production and/or deployed system support.
• Ability to work in a high‑pace environment.
• Experience presenting to senior level management.
• Must be a US citizen.

• High‑rate/high‑volume manufacturing experience.
• Technical experience related to missile, launch vehicle, and/or space vehicle development.
• Ability to articulate complex technical and programmatic issues to peers, management and customers.
• Cross‑functional program management coordination.
• Project management of a highly complex manufacturing process.
• Earned Value Management experience.

Secret clearance required. Position requires a government security clearance; the applicant must be a US citizen.
