Duties / Responsibilities:

Prompt, regular, and dependable attendance is an essential function of this job. Serve as the Site Electrical Engineer working for the Maintenance Department. Maintain update plant electrical single line diagrams and associated Arc Flash Analysis / Labeling. Serve as an Authority having Jurisdiction (AHJ) for NPFA 70E compliance. Specify appropriate Preventive Maintenance (PM's) / Predictive Maintenance (PdMs). Knowledge of PLCs, Instruments, DCS systems, UPS Systems, and low voltage (<

600 VAC) plant systems. Knowledge of DC voltage systems for PLCs, Instruments, DCS systems, UPS systems and other plant systems. Provide Maintenance Functional input to new Process Equipment Purchase Specifications to ensure adequacy.

Required

Education / Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university or college. Minimum 2 years experience with PLCs, HMIs, AC/DC drives and motors, low and medium power distribution, substations, and power distribution equipment (transformers, circuit breakers, cables, etc.). Minimum 2 years of experience in Facility Engineering Desired Characteristics:
Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), Thermography, and Motor Circuit Analysis. Prior experience in Chemical Manufacturing with Process Safety Management (PSM) preferred. Must be in current position minimum of 6 months.

This key Electrical I&E Engineer position comes with a base salary of up to $106,000 (depending on experience), sign-on bonus, annual bonus potential of 8-12%, and an outstanding (but low cost) benefits package.
