General Description:

This role is responsible for leading implementation, adoption, and continuous improvement of digital applications and advanced analytics programs. The role works closely with site teams, process engineers, vendors, and IT to deliver scalable digital manufacturing solutions and actionable operational insights.

As a key member of the global digital team, they will leverage their background and experience to harness the power of data and analytics, driving business value and innovation across the organization. Working knowledge of digital OT/IT hardware and software systems and technologies, AI tools and platforms, and management of database/cloud resources/user management is required.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Leadership of Digital applications and Advanced Analytics Initiatives:
  Take charge of Indorama Ventures' digital initiatives, serving as a focal point for digital applications, industrial analytics, and value realization activities.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  
  Collaborate with site champions, process engineers, production engineers, data scientists, vendors, IT, and leadership teams to develop and implement digital applications and advanced analytics solutions.
• User Community Building:
  Establish and support a user community in the organization through coaching, knowledge sharing, standards, and adoption support to accelerate digital applications and advanced analytics usage.
• Growth:
  Create plans and guidelines to grow analytics capabilities across the company, making sure that data-driven insights are available and useful at all levels.
• Data Analysis and Interpretation:
  Utilize your expertise to analyze complex manufacturing data sets and develop analytics use cases, dashboards, production calculations, and decision-support solutions that drive process improvements and business decisions.
• Data Integration:
  Work with various manufacturing and enterprise data sources and systems to ensure seamless data integration, data quality, metadata management, and data governance.
• Data-Driven Solutions:
  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that optimize processes, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency.
• Vendor and Solution Management:
  Coordinate with software vendors and service providers to support application performance, licensing, user adoption, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Performance Monitoring:
  Continuously monitor and assess the performance, adoption, and business value of digital applications and advanced analytics initiatives, making necessary adjustments to improve effectiveness.
• Project Management:
  Successfully manage multiple projects involving digital applications and advanced analytics and chemical engineering, including planning, scheduling, allocating resources, managing budgets, and resolving issues.
• Keep Updated:
  Follow the latest developments and trends in digital applications and advanced analytics and chemical engineering to find new possibilities for innovation.

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing analytics, digital manufacturing, or related technical disciplines
• Demonstrated experience with digital applications and tools.
• Demonstrated experience with advanced data analytics application.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
