Job Description: A school custodian maintains a clean, safe, and functional school environment. Responsibilities include cleaning classrooms, hallways, and restrooms.

• Meets state requirements for education qualifications.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in the English language fluently and effectively.
• Has effective organizational, communication, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must be able to follow oral and written directions and establish effective working relationships with District/School staff and students.
• Must comply with school Safety Manual Rules and OSHA requirements.
• Endeavors to understand and respect the values and traditions of the diverse cultures represented in the community and in the school.
• May include additional qualifications as determined by the Board of Education; reported to the School Principal or an authorized custodial manager or supervisor.
• Minimum requirement: HS Diploma or Equivalent.
