Manufacturing Superintendent

Job Description Core Responsibility

Leads and coordinates self-perform manufacturing work at project sites.

Responsible for safety, schedule, quality, productivity, and Trade labor management while ensuring work aligns with contract scope and production goals.

• Implement and enforce jobsite safety program
• Develop Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs)
• Ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations

• Sequence work to meet schedule and productivity targets
• Integrate manufacturing facility activities into overall project schedule

• Monitor executed quantities and percent complete
• Lead weekly production tracking and reporting
• Utilize continuous improvement methods such as Last Planner System (LPS)

• Establish production requirements with forepersons
• Adjust staffing and crew assignments to optimize output
• Participate in hiring and termination decisions
• Mentor forepersons and support career progression
  
  Identify high-potential Trade talent

• Ensure installation complies with contract documents
• Review drawings for constructability and manufacturing constraints
• Monitor material deliveries and procurement
• Assist with bid review and productivity planning
• Resolve field issues and elevate as needed

• 3+ years as Superintendent managing self-perform work or related field leadership experience
• Strong manufacturing means and methods knowledge
• Solid understanding of scheduling, cost control, contract documents
• Deep EH&S knowledge
• Continuous improvement mindset
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Travel required; on-site manufacturing environment
