Manufacturing Superintendent

Core Responsibility

Leads and coordinates self-perform manufacturing work at project sites.
Responsible for safety, schedule, quality, productivity, and Trade labor
management while ensuring work aligns with contract scope and production
goals.

Key Accountabilities

Safety & EH&S

- Implement and enforce jobsite safety program

- Develop Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs)

- Ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations

Production & Scheduling

- Sequence work to meet schedule and productivity targets

- Integrate manufacturing facility activities into overall project
schedule

- Monitor executed quantities and percent complete

- Lead weekly production tracking and reporting

- Utilize continuous improvement methods such as Last Planner System
(LPS)

Trade Labor Management

- Establish production requirements with forepersons

- Adjust staffing and crew assignments to optimize output

- Participate in hiring and termination decisions

- Mentor forepersons and support career progression

- Identify high-potential Trade talent

Project Execution

- Ensure installation complies with contract documents

- Review drawings for constructability and manufacturing constraints

- Monitor material deliveries and procurement

- Assist with bid review and productivity planning

- Resolve field issues and escalate as needed

- 3+ years as Superintendent managing self-perform work (or related
field leadership experience)

- Strong manufacturing means and methods knowledge

- Solid understanding of scheduling, cost control, contract documents

- Deep EH&S knowledge

- Continuous improvement mindset

- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

- Travel required; on-site manufacturing environment
