Sr. Manager, Manufacturing Operations – 2nd shift

• Lead a full value stream on the 2nd shift, driving performance across key operational metrics—safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee engagement.
• Align team goals with plant objectives, allocate resources, and communicate performance through production boards and shift‑to‑shift hand‑offs.
• Implement and enforce standardized work, 5S standards, and workplace safety procedures; manage accident investigations and corrective actions.
• Champion Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives, conducting root cause analysis and waste reduction activities.
• Lead, develop, and inspire teams of Area Leaders, Team Leaders, and hourly employees; conduct coaching, performance management, and succession planning.
• Ensure product quality by maintaining the Manufacturing Control Plan and partnering with engineering and quality teams to improve yield and service call rates.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or a related technical field.
• At least 7 years of leadership experience in a high‑volume manufacturing operation.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and ERP or other business systems.
• Ability to resolve complex manufacturing problems independently.

• Black Belt or similar certification in Lean, DMAIC or associated change mechanisms.
• Demonstrated accomplishments showing results‑motivated methodology, analytical skills, and teamwork.
• Knowledge of appliances manufacturing processes.

Normal office and manufacturing conditions; occasional weekend or evening work may be required.
